The Beginning
Our family’s first generation business journey started with Agriculture, a way back in the year 1960, cultivating paddy, coconut, sugarcane, sesame and more, at Thanjavur, situated in South region of Tamilnadu, India.
The Second Generation
In the early 70’s, with the base knowledge of Agriculture, our fathers (the 2nd generation) , stepped into Rice Mill Business, in the year 1974. They had thus begun the journey for their survival backed only by their skill and knowledge gained in agriculture and a passion for business.
Third Generation
Our third generation business evolved in our State Capital, Chennai – in the year 1989, in the name of Shree Amman Pharma Distributors, as a budding concern and then later it was incorporated as Shree Amman Pharma Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2000, as an authorized distributor for more than 200 top notch Pharmaceutical Companies of India.
Birth of SamOTPL
With sourced knowledge of Agriculture and Rice Mill business, rooted from our DNA, and with armed expertise in our current pharma distribution business, we stepped in to expanding our business globally. Thus, we have started our export business concern in the name of Sam Traders, in the year 2014 at Chennai and it was later incorporated as Sam Overseas Trading Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2017. At SamOTPL, our nature of business is purely for exporting FMCG products and Pharmaceuticals.
Our Global presence
We have our own importing concern, named Shree Amman Enterprises Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, which was incorporated in the year 2015 for the distribution of FMCG products and services in entire Singapore region. We have a strong Distribution Network running successfully at: Shree Amman Enterprises Pte. Ltd., #2 Bukit Batok Street 24#7-16, Skytech, Singapore.

Ltd. – a highly system oriented Healthcare Organization, he is instrumental in defining the organization policy & procedures, to attain high level of transparency at SamOTPL, to serve our clients all over the world.

Armed with vast experience in Procurement and Distribution, by being served as a Director for more than 2 decade at Shree Amman Pharma Pvt. Ltd. – a highly system oriented Healthcare Organization, he is instrumental in maintaining Procurement and Distribution of our wide range of Products at SamOTPL, to serve our clients all over the world.

A high energetic young entrepreneur, with strong knowledge in Fast Moving Consumer Goods [FMCG] industry, joined our forces since our inception as Sam Traders – which transformed to SamOTPL today, he is instrumental in serving as a super power in managing range of business operations at SamOTPL, to serve our clients all over the world.

An ambitious pharmacy graduate with tremendous knowledge about the pharmaceutical industry, working towards expanding our ever growing pharma exports alongside the other crucial business operations. He is instrumental in understanding the exact needs of our valuable customers and making sure we at SAMOTPL don’t fall below a 100% customer satisfactory rate.

Our reputation for quality has been a major driver in the success of the company and its continued growth. Our adherence to the highest standards of food and drug safety leads us to be closely involved in every step of the procurement process.
This attention to detail provides an extra level of quality assurance above and beyond our already exacting standards.
We are members of various export promotion councils such as FIEO (Federation of Indian Export Organization), APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority), and Spices Board Of India.
We hold authorised drug licensing to store, distribute and export pharmaceutical products. We also work only with WHO GMP accredited manufacturers.
Apart from these, we are approved by FSSAI – Food Safety and Standards Authority of India and are currently under the process of getting ourselves ISO certified.
Infrastructure
The infrastructure of the company, we choose as our suppliers, is in the line with standard manufacturing facilities and procedures. All the machines in the production line made from food grade material and comply with specifications of FMCG industries. All the custom orders for pharmaceuticals are manufactured at WHO GMP certified manufacturers. Activities ranging from procurement of raw materials till dispatch of finished formulations will strictly adhere to cGMP under qualified personnel.
All the stages of the manufacturing process is strictly supervised to achieve almost “zero defects” products. This helps our products to compete with major well-known competitors products and spices exporters, from India and around the globe.
Moreover, we have a very highly qualified team in processing and marketing department to ensure best in its class products, timely delivery and excellent pre and post shipment services. Thus ensuring our Clients satisfaction and bestowed the Trust they kept in us.
